The Urban Lab center is part of the partnership among (Women and Children in Focus, Vento Di Terra Albania, Epoka e Re, Tjeter Vizion, MEN-Mireqeversija e Ekosistemeve Natyrore) with the aim to develop the socio - economic status of the territory of Divjaka.
Urban Lab is the result of the project URBAN LAB - Urban Laboratory for the development of the territory in the Municipality of Divjaka implemented by Vento di Terra in collaboration with the Municipality of Divjaka, the Polytechnic of Milan and other Italian and Albanian NGOs.
The Urban Lab building is designed by the Architecture Studio from Milan, Arco', and has been build in 2019. From the beginning the Urban Lab center has been designed to be an attractive center for youth and women where they can develop and realize their business ideas in social and economic environment.
Mision & Vision
Urban Lab is an instrument of territorial unification of the community with a public origin of non-profit sector, with the aim to unify and harmonizes in a single legal instrument a diversity of local, public and private, institutional, social, commercial, individual and local representatives with the spirit of cooperation that preserves and promotes the interests of the territory in a framework of collaboration and harmony between public and private. Urban Lab finds its value in the various existing and available entities, in a continuous spirit of partnership, through the realization of common objectives.
Urban Lab partnership believes in the principle of participation, including transparence and common aspirations and levels of volatility; inclusion which means the condemn of every type of discrimination, and protection of vulnerable groups it means protection of vulnerable groups and leads to demonstrations of solidarity; territory, that is, while being open to national and international requests and exchanges, the association considers its territory as a reason for its existence and as a primary objective.
Within these principles, all the activities and strategies are developed within Urban Lab.
On the basis of these founding principles, the members of the association can be part of the public system or private sector without any restrictions except for the fully agreement with all the principles and the points of this statute and the active and concrete will to bring the values of the association into the territory.
